Can the ratng on the front of a video game box really be trusted? These ratings are supposed to advise parents as to what audience a game is suited and provide a description as to the content that warrants such a rating, but can you trust the ESRB's (Entertainment Software Rating Board) judgment to discern what your child should be playing? You see a rating, but do you really know what it stands for and do you know what your child is going to be viewing when (s)he sits down to play? The ESRB sets the standard for how games are rated, but the people who set this standard aren?t necessarily individuals who hold the same traditional family values as you do.

Plain Games is here to help by providing a more in-depth look into the content of video games. It is our hope that having trustworthy information on games will better equip you in selecting games for your child?s play. Click here to find out how Plain Games rates games using the bar rating video game rating system.
