DragonBall Z: Budokai

DragonBall Z: Budokai (DBZ) is a third person fighting game in a fully 3D environment. DBZ is developed by FuNimation and Infogrames as well as produced by Infogrames. Infogrames has developed and produced many well-known titles and is a leader in the production of 3D games.

DBZ is one of the best fighting games I?ve played. It is very original and the graphics are very detailed. The controls are fairly good for a game of this type, but are a little tricky to get the hang of and the combo attacks are tough to perform as you must keep hitting buttons repeatedly. I found the help menus and game manual very useful when trying to learn such moves. They tend to get you through most of your basic issues.

There are very few cut scenes in the game, but the few that are added feature mostly one on one fighting. The plot is easy to understand if you have watched the any of the DragonBall Z series.

DBZ is well polished and is very re-playable, especially with 1vs1 multiplayer mode. This is a great mode if you want to take on your friends in combat! It is also very exciting to get perform the powerful wave attacks in which each character specializes.

DBZ is based solely on fighting. There is some blood, but mostly just a lot of violence. Other than the blood and violence, DBZ is a clean game, with no swearing or nudity. Your goal is to save the world, a very honorable quest and in general the game promotes good over evil.

DBZ is fun to play, especially if you love Japanese animation. The good graphics definitely take this game to the top and once you get started, you will certainly want to come back and play again. I fully recommend DBZ to all players thirteen and up, due to violent nature of the game.
