Founded in 2001, Plain Games, Inc. provides parents and youth with the tools and information necessary to make wise game purchasing decisions. Plain Games understands the need of consumers for a game rating system they can trust and has developed its Bar Rating game rating system to meet this need.

In November of 2007, Plain Games signed on with Family Entertainment Central to provide review services. Family Entertainment Central is a product of the Family Entertainment Association, which is a family-centered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting wholesome entertainment by means of a unique, single-source, online system—Family Entertainment Central. Plain Games is proud to be a part of FEC.
